Two Ph.D. students of Prof. Gilad Lerman have been awarded prestigious fellowships.

Tyler Maunu was awarded a MnDRIVE Fellowship. Recipients were selected based on academic record, potential for future scholarly productivity, and planned research at the intersection of informatics and any of the four MnDRIVE areas (robotics, sensors, food and brain). John Goes has been awarded a Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship, a program that gives the University's most accomplished Ph.D. candidates an opportunity to devote full-time effort to an outstanding research project by providing time to finalize and write a dissertation during the fellowship year.
