Assistant Professor Pavlo Pylyavskyy has been awarded a five year Career grant award from NSF. The Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program represents "...the National Science Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations." Pavlo's research is in algebraic combinatorics, specifically cluster algebras, their generalizations, and applications; details of the grant award can be found here.
