The School of Mathematics and our generous affiliates recognize hard-working, talented mathematics majors by providing departmental scholarships.
The application process for an Undergraduate Mathematics Scholarship uses a short online application form which can be accessed only while logged into your UMN account during the open application period. The deadline for submitting an application was Monday 9 April 2018.
Applicants must be mathematics majors in good academic standing who will register as full-time students for both Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters.
Twenty math majors were awarded scholarships by the School of Mathematics in 2017-8, and we anticipate at least that many awardees in 2018-9.

The University of Minnesota and generous affiliated organizations make a number of scholarships available to qualified undergraduates.
Both the College of Liberal Arts and the College of Science and Engineering offer scholarships for outstanding students.
