The geometry of gradient Ricci solitons Abstract:
Ricci solitons are natural generalizations of Einstein manifolds. More prominently, they arise in the singularity analysis of the Ricci flow. In this talk, I will survey some recent developments in the study of gradient Ricci solitons. More emphasis will be placed on some interesting information regarding the geometry and topology of Ricci solitons, in arbitrary dimension.
