Class policies :

These are found on pages 3 and 4 of your book. I will emphasize the following ones:

Homework:
- is due at the beginning of the class period, usually on Tuesdays but sometimes on Thursdays. If you are unable to come to class, you can drop off your homework in my mailbox (mailbox Orozco-Rodriguez in Vincent Hall 107) the day before it is due.
- must be neat (no ragged edges), clear (complete solutions) and stapled.

Attendance:
- 3 points will be deducted for each unexcused absence.
- points will also be deducted for leaving class early without finishing the assigned worksheets.

Procedure for grading homework:

Each homework is graded on a scale of 0-25. A few problems are selected and graded. The maximum score you can earn for the graded problems is 15. You earn the remaining 10 points if you completed the problems that were not graded.
