I am a doctoral student in the mathematics department at Minnesota. I am advised by Yoichiro Mori. I am interested in modelling of biophysical systems, particularly: local gastric mucosal defense mechanisms. I am also interested in topology of four manifolds, particularly: symplectic manifolds and Lefschetz fibrations, factorization calculus on mapping class groups.

Research

  1. Analysis and Simulation on a Model of Hydrophobic Gastric Mucus Barrier, with Y. Mori.

  2. Towers of Symplectic Four Manifolds
    Preprint

  3. Lantern substitution and new symplectic 4-manifolds with {b_{2}}^{+} = 3, with A. Akhmedov.
