Research Interests:
I am interested in partial differential equations. I am
particularly interested in the Navier-Stokes and Euler
equations. Usually the qualitative properties of
solutions, such as global existence VS blowup,
uniqueness, stability/instability, long-time dynamics
are among the first questions I 'd like to ask and
hopefully also solve (rarely happens...). At an early
stage of my career, I am open to various new, exciting
directions. The main focus is still to learn and
understand the vast literature and techniques in PDE.
Courses:
I taught Calculus II, Linear algebra and differential
equations during academic years 2007-2009. I am
currently working as Research Assistant for my advisor
professor Vladimir
Sverak.
Publications:
Here you can find some of my work (preprints):
1.Liouville theorem for time-dependent Stokes system in
domains (joint with Gregory Seregin {one of my advisor's
main collaborators} and Vladimir Sverak {my advisor}). (pdf)
2.Minimal L^3 initial data for potential Navier-Stokes
singularities (joint with Vladimir Sverak ). (pdf)
3.Local-in-space estimates near initial time for weak
solutions of Navier-Stokes equations and forward
self-similar solutions (joint with Vladimir Sverak). (pdf)
